In order to apply for a pay day loan from Dollars Direct you must have an active bank account and have been employed for over one month. it is necessary for you to be a current resident of Australia and be at least eighteen years of age. To prove your residency you will also need a passport number.
Dollars Direct essentially broker a deal between you and a third party who will provide you with the money making up your loan. The loan must be paid back on your next pay day that falls between eight and 40 days away. If your pay dates fall outside of this range, your loan will be due in 14 days.
If you are paid by paper cheque, you will be given a grace period of one day to deposit your cheque. You also have the right to cancel your loan within 24 hours of signing your loan contracts by contacting Customer Service. DollarsDirect charges you $25 per $100 borrowed. You will enter into a credit contract with the lender. The lender will charge you a flat fee of $7.
