NAB iSaver - Savings Account
(Which Way To Pay - 3/3/2011)
This is a new addition to our site, adding to the savings account section. The NAB iSaver account offers you a fantastic rate of 5.85% p.a. which will remain steady no matter how much money you have in your account. You can open it with as little as $1.
The finer details show that this rate is only available if you open account before March 10th because you benefit from a bonus rate of 1.10% in addition to 4.75% standard rate. Opening your account after this date will mean that you will receive the 4.75% p.a. interest rate. Interest is paid into your account monthly and you can gain access to your account 24/7.
One of the great features of this savings account is the fact that you do not have to pay for the day-to-day service of the account. Therefore as long as you are putting money into it, you will be saving and earning on the interest you collect. You can transact in the usual way, via internet banking and via telephone banking. You can even set up a direct debit so that you donít need to worry about transferring funds into your savings account each month or week-whatever you want.
A few small points: If you wish to close your account you will have to go into an NAB branch. To reiterate the above-you will only get the 4.75% interest rate if you open your account before March 10th. The only way you can withdraw money through your account is to transfer funds into an eligible NAB account.
All in all a good savings account and perfect for saving money in the 2011 and beyond.
