The St.George Maxi Saver Account is available to personal customers and only to Australian residents. It offers high interest on online savings and no monthly fee applies. Also, there is no transaction fee.

A fixed bonus interest rate of 1.95% is available for the first five months in addition to the standard variable rate of currently 2.6% p.a.

Withdrawing from the account is only possible by transferring it to a linked account. The account can be managed round-the-clock online or via phone banking. It is possible to make deposits directly via electronic transfer.

The interest is calculated daily and paid monthly. Applicants can be under 18 years old but need to provide an authorized user form completed by a parent or legal guardian.
